CAREY WEEKLY NEWSLETTER 2023 S2 WEEK 13

The Lord is faithful

Psalm 145:8-13

8 The Lord is gracious and merciful,

slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

9 The Lord is good to all,

and his compassion is over all that he has made.

10 All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord,

and all your faithful shall bless you.

11 They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom

and tell of your power,

12 to make known to all people your mighty deeds

and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,

and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

Are you experiencing the grace and mercy of the Lord? How about the Lord’s love, goodness, and compassion? These certainties are always present for you, because God is faithful. As the intensity of study and assessments ramps up, cling to our faithful God, whose kingdom is everlasting and whose reign endures throughout all generations.

Karakia on Tuesday, 17 October

Whether you come on-site or Zoom in, our weekly karakia provides a space to connect and hear from the Lord.

This week and next are the final two karakia gatherings for the term, so be sure to come along as we finish out the term! Join online or come on campus to worship with the Carey whānau at 11.15am on Tuesday.

2024 Fees Confirmed

We know it’s still 2023, and there is a lot to do before next year (Summer holidays, Christmas, and making it through this term, to name a few!). But, we wanted to let you know that the 2024 fees have been finalised. This includes the Student Services Fee—thank you to those who provided feedback to Torin. If you are continuing on next year, be sure to check these figures out. And if you haven’t looked at the 2024 provisional timetable, give that a squizz too!

Also, we will have some exciting news on scholarships in the coming weeks, so watch this space!
