Some updates and reminders at the end of the semester

CAFÉ THEOS

Final for the semester on Monday June 23 for any who may be around. All welcome.

Meet at Myk's office at 12:30pm

Research Essays

If you are thinking of completing a research essay in the first semester of 2009, now is the time to begin talking to a potential supervisor on staff about topics etc. and getting your proposal confirmed. Doing this a semester ahead of time means that available faculty can be assigned as supervisors according to their workload. Please see the Dean of Undergraduate Studies for details and the paper on how to write a proposal.

Carey Undergraduate Tutors

If you are interested in doing some paid tutoring work at Carey please submit an academic CV to Russell Thorp (Dean of Undergraduate Studies - russell.thorp@carey.ac.nz ) , indicating your qualifications, area of interest (biblical studies, theology, history, applied) and what semester you are available. Tutors are then selected on suitability and availability.

Working towards Semester Two

For returning students (distance or onsite)...please remember that the enrolment deadline for semester two courses is Wednesday 25 June...next week!

If you have not decided on courses and need to talk this through please connect with Russell Thorp (Dean of undergraduate Studies) or Neroli Hodges (Registrar) sooner rather than later.

And on the money front - fees for semester two are due Friday 11 July.
