Grounded in the whakataukī Ko au ko koe, ko koe ko au – I am you, and you are me, this year’s theme reminds us that connection and belonging are important for our mental and emotional health. Belonging can be built in simple ways – checking in with a friend, making time for a kōrero, inviting someone in, or reaching out to someone new. As we approach the end of the semester, it’s a good opportunity to think about how we’re connecting with others and looking after our own wellbeing. Every small act of connection can help build a stronger, more supportive community. Find ideas and free resources for Mental Health Awareness Week at mhaw.nz. |
Final Assessment DeadlineA reminder that the end-of-semester deadline for final assessments is Friday 6 November. If you’re finding the deadline challenging, please get in touch with Neroli as soon as possible to discuss your situation. You can also reach out to the Student Support team if you need some extra support as you finish the semester. Thinking About Studying in 2027?Whether you’re returning to Carey in 2027 or considering starting a new programme, now is a great time to get in touch with Neroli to discuss your study options, courses and next steps. Course EvaluationsA big thank you to everyone who completed their Course Evaluations. Your feedback is valuable and helps Carey continue to improve the learning experience for students.
