CAREY WEEKLY NEWSLETTER 2025 S1 WEEK 9
|
Back to it, plus it’s Mission Week!
We missed our regular lecture schedule over the Study and Reading weeks, and we missed seeing many of you in classroms and on Zoom. This week is going to be great, but not only because we get to see you all again. It’s also Mission Week! Mission Week is an important week of the year at Carey, and this year is no exception. Check below for more on what’s on.

Mission Week 2025—a message from Emma
“Mission Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our good God, who is present and active in the world by the Spirit bringing transformation and renewal. It is also an invitation to reflect afresh on all that God has invited us to be part of. This year we are delighted to be partnering again with Arotahi. During the week there will be ‘reflection stations’ dotted around Carey based on Acts 17:28, ‘In him we live and move and have our being’. Keep an eye out for them and make sure you visit them all. 😊 We will also have ‘something extra’ happening during Monday and Tuesday lunches. On Monday we will hear a video message from Chris Poniah, (Director of Mission Interlink). Tuesday we will be joined by Annie Snook, (Global Catalyst, Arotahi) and will be inspired by some of what Arotahi’s partners are involved in. We will also be encouraged to consider what part we can play in God’s redemptive work in the world. You don’t want to miss this! During Karakia on Tuesday morning, we are excited to welcome Johan Linder, (OMF Director) who is bringing us a message from Isaiah 55. It’s going to be a great week!”
