Maybe you aren’t sitting in warm weather on a beach somewhere, but hopefully you’re making the most of these precious weeks. We're through the first of our Study and Reading weeks, which continue for another two weeks. As a reminder, normal on-site, synchronous courses will not take place during this time. Also, weekly karakia and community lunches will not take place until week 10, beginning Tuesday, 28 April (Carey is closed for ANZAC Day observance on Monday, 27 April). Library hours will remain the same. |

“Keep your head up,” “don’t freak out,” “keep calm,” “believe in yourself,” and all the other platitudes out there are well and good, but there are deadlines, and sometimes it’s easy to panic. But, we’ve got your back and are here for you. And we actually mean those things! There’s the 10 Essentials to help you with details, and our support staff are still around and keen as to help you as you go. So before you start to lose your mind, give us a shout. And, if you’ve already begun to lose your mind, give us a shout anyway. We can help you get it back. AI declaration requirementDon’t forget this critical requirement! FOR EVERY ASSESSMENT, you MUST submit a cover sheet and AI declaration. Your lecturers should go over this with you, and the cover page can be found in the Assessments tab of your course page or the link above. Do not forget to submit this REQUIRED form with your assessments. |

| | Stuff happens. We get it. Sometimes you need an extension. Here’s what you need to know before you request one: Assessments handed in up to one week after the due date are marked with 10% late penalty; assessments handed in between 7-14 days are marked pass/fail. Assessments handed in after the two-week period normally are not marked and receive a fail grade. So, be on time! If you need an extension, please talk to your teacher and Neroli, and complete an application along with evidence of your valid reason for an extension. |
