It’s time for Study and Reading weeks, so until Friday, 24 April, regular classes will pause. Our weekly karakia and community lunches will also take a break. You'll likely be working hard on assessments and maybe even getting ahead on ones to come! Also, be sure to check your course on CareyOnline for any guided learning happening. But we hope you can also take time to let the content you are learning about from your lectures take root and transform you. As you work, we pray you grow closer to Jesus and use this time to breathe a bit. Holiday scheduleWith Easter and ANZAC Day, Carey (including the library) will be closed periodically during the next few weeks. | Assessment prep and AI declaration |

Be sure you are planning accordingly with assessments nearing. Set out enough time beforehand to get your research together, create an assessment calendar, and above all, make sure you’ve looked at the 10 Essentials. If you are relatively new to study or have been away for a while, these will make your life SO MUCH easier. If you’re a seasoned pro, there’s still probably something in there that’ll help. AI declaration requirementFor every assessment, you MUST submit a cover sheet and AI declaration. Your lecturers should go over this with you, and the cover page can be found in the Assessments tab of your course page or the link above. Do not forget to submit this REQUIRED form with your assessments. |

| | Stuff happens. We get it. Sometimes you need an extension. Here’s what you need to know before you request one: Assessments handed in up to one week after the due date are marked with 10% late penalty; assessments handed in between 7-14 days are marked pass/fail. Assessments handed in after the two-week period normally are not marked and receive a fail grade. So, be on time! If you need an extension, please talk to your teacher and Neroli, and complete an application along with evidence of your valid reason for an extension. |
